Eight Members of Florida Recovery Center Accepted as Student Affiliates of UF CARE

Eight members of the UF Health Florida Recovery Center research lab were accepted as student affiliates of the UF Center for Addiction Research & Education (UF CARE) in August. These undergraduate students assist with the research program created through Dr. Scott Teitelbaum’s Pottash Endowed Professorship in Psychiatry and Neuroscience. Two team members (Sarah Michaud and Evan Curry) presented at the August 21st “What I Did This Summer” CARE Seminar, describing their project entitled, “Addressing another Addiction: Nicotine Dependence among Substance use Disorder Patients at the Florida Recovery Center.”
