It was nice to see Jessica Prowell, MD at the AACAP conference in Washington, DC and hear what she's up to now!

Dr. Prowell is in private practice in Athens, Georgia. She is the psychiatrist at Athens Psychological Services. Her General Psychiatry residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship training were both completed at the University of Florida.  During her training she served as Chief Fellow, receiving the Ralph Maurer Award for Excellence in Child Psychiatry.  After completing psychiatric training, Dr. Prowell and her family were excited to return home to Georgia and rejoin the Athens community.

Dr. Prowell specializes in evaluation and management of ADHD, depressive and mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and autism spectrum disorders.  Her practice focuses on patients ranging in age from 2 up to and including 17 years of age.  Her philosophy includes treating each patient as an individual, and utilizing each patient's strengths and needs to develop an individualized treatment plan that includes the support of family and community services in addition to behavioral and medical interventions.

Deadline for Open Enrollment November 3rd at 6pm

This is the time of year when you can make changes to your insurance plans. But if you don’t take any action, you’ll automatically remain in the plans you chose last year if they are still offered.

Some dental plans have been discontinued, and new plans are now available. Participants in discontinued plans will need to make an election for a new dental plan to have dental coverage in 2018.

We hope you’ll take the time to explore your benefits options this year.

Come up with three words that describe you. Use this handout to see which exercise each letter correlates to. Then perform the workout for each word throughout the day.
