She read and summarized 4 articles on patient safety, began organizing her team’s quality improvement project, and attended the SPH Core Measures meeting and gave feedback to residents on various issues. She also led VA case conferences teaching our new interns and residents about Baker Act as well as updating the intern survival guide. Thanks, Ashley, for being a quality and safety star!

Staff Recognition

A big thank you to all the Little Springhill staff that helped with the move into the new Springhill 2 building.

In addition to all the clinic staff that assisted, there were some key players that did a lot of the planning, coordinating, and heavy lifting and we'd like to recognize Emmanuel Myrtil, Tina Green, Monica Brook, Donna Rowland, and Terra Smith!

We could not have had such a successful move without all your hard work!

We need your help!

We'd like you to keep an eye out for those staff members that continually go above and beyond for the department.

Then we would like you to nominate them by submitting their name and a brief explanation of the awesome thing(s) they do!

The Executive Leadership Committee will vote on the candidates and we will announce the winner in the newsletter.

Please submit your entries to Priscilla Spence by September 15th.
